I've taken almost all my critters here for years, through Dr Carter leaving, new vets, Dr Carter back, to him now retiring again with new vets who so far are great because you couldn't beat Dr Carter or his love and compassion but these new Dr's are a good fit!
I have taken my furbabies to Old Dominion forever. Dr. Carter and now Dr. Spangler are the most wonderful, caring doctors. I would never hesitate to take my pets there. Also, the vet techs are equally as wonderful. It is a team effort. The office staff is always helpful, caring, and friendly.
I have heard so many wonderful things about this practice now that Shelley has taken over. I have 2 kitties and I am 100%, without a doubt switching to Old Dominion. I am so happy to know that my cats and I will be treated like family every time we walk in the door.
Visited Old Dominion Veterinary Hospital for the first time, on a Saturday, with a very sick kitty. I was beyond happy with the treatment she, and we, received. Dr. Spangler and the staff took a lot of time explaining procedures and possible outcomes so we weren't taken by surprise by anything. I received a call from the clinic for an update on how the cat is doing. I have never had that happen with any of my pets, or from any other vet that we've used. I would highly recommend the clinic.
Dr Spangler worked her magic on my allergic baby. No more itchy feet. First full night sleep for both of us in weeks. Everyone that works there is awesome.
