The best vet in Botetourt County, in my opinion. He has always made provisions for the "poor man" when that person was struggling to meet their bills from his clinic. To me, that speaks volumes. We LOVE Dr. Carter!!!!
I like Dr. Sult.!!! She is patient, kind, very knowledgeable about the little things.
I used to really like and recommend this vet. It seems lately that I will never know what they are going to charge me for and what it will cost. Exams have gone up to $45...other little visits have gone up $5-$10 which adds up when you combine all of it. A visit today that usually costs me $50 in the past, just cost me $118 (and I have all my receipts to show). In addition, it seems like they are more trying to up-sell than anything now. Dr. Carter has been a family vet since I was a child. Now that I breed great danes I would never trust anyone else with my large breed dogs I love his staff they all are great. They are taking special care of a lamb I brought in that is only 2 days old. What great staff and care!
I love it now that Dr. Tatum is no longer there. She was rude and treated animals bad.
