Great Service Skinny Bartender! – The atmosphere was a typical Old Chicago setting but I will promise I will come back and talk sports with Brad when I'm headed back into town. He should've been a sports announcer, he is a walking bowl of sport statistics and overall knowledge I felt like I was chatting with Madden! Great food and cool staff.
Best thick crust pizza – Pizza and Beer...'nuff said.
Late night pizza – I love the after 10 pm deals on pizza here. The food is always fantastic and service the best. I just wish I could catch a deal during the day too!
Best Pizza and Beer Restaurant Ever! – My husband and I go to Old Chicago all the time! They have such good food, honestly we don't order pizza very often. But when we do we love the Chicago style, and the taco pizza. The sicillian rolls are my whole families favorite appitizer. We come for happy hour 3-5 and 10-close often and they have wings and small plates for cheap but they are delicious. They are always coming up with new menu items, and the chef inspired menu going on right now is amazing! The Big cookie with ala mode... read more
Want bad service? Go here! – First off, the food at Old Chicago is nothing special. The service here I found was terrible. Mouthy staff, managers who did not know what they were doing....
FOOD POISONING!!! BE CAREFUL!!! – DO NOT EAT HERE!!! I got food poisoning after eating the nachos here. They were disgusting and toxic. Dripping with grease, and the "wonton chips" were deep fried to hell. There was some sort of unknown mystery meat on them, and I have been throwing up all day because of it, to the point where I am spitting up blood. There is something seriously wrong with the cooking here. I'm going to do what I can to let the FDA know about this as well. Worst part about it, there was horrible service, the... read more
Friendly Atmosphere – My friends and I eat at Old Chicago occasionally. I normally get pizza, my favorite is the Chicago-style, Chicago Seven. I also always get the extra hot Buffalo wings as an appetizer. Sometimes I'll try a calzone or burger but I usually stick with the pizza. They have a great beer list and I enjoy ordering the beer flights, that way I get to try a variety of different beers. The food isn't too bad here and the service is pretty decent, I'm sure I'll continue to come back.
What's Not To Love? – I've been a "regular" at Old Chicago for quite sometime, and I've just got to say, as I've visited other Old Chicagos, the staff at this one has it down. The service is great. They are all attentive and like to make your experience personable. The food is awesome as there is a little bit of everything for everyone. And who doesn't love the World Beer Tour?!?! Old Chicago IS my place of choice for a cold refreshing beer and some good eats after a long day at work.
Not overly impressed – My husband and I walked away with a $77 dinner tab the other night for two beers, a sandwhich and three red bull / vodkas. I was kind of shocked to get a bill so high for not that great of a dinner. Lesson learned. Service was great and tons of attention. They are more than helpful in selecting a beer with you as well as tasters. I'd go back again but be a little more mindful of the mixed drinks - I guess nearly $11 a drink!
