Surprisingly good for families Located conveniently in the Town Center the Old Blinking Light has a nice patio dining area. We went last night and the weather was perfect for sitting outside. They have a fire pit for when it gets cooler. The menu is diverse but a little pricey.
Fun place to eat and chat The food is organic, unique and great! I loved sitting on the patio wrapped in the provided mexican blankets by the fire.... Prices are very reasonable - mid range and there is plenty of food to split with two....
I ordered from them in mid-July. The reason why I’m writing this review 6 weeks later was because I was trying to give the restaurant time or opportunity to redeem themselves but since they don’t care- I got my order to go because my family and I were leaving at 3:30AM to drive to DIA to catch our flight overseas. Great atmosphere – I took my girlfriend here for our 1st Valentines together. I couldn't of asked for a better place. The food was outstanding and full of flavor! The atmosphere was relaxing and romantic with the fire all around. Noise level where very quite, the bar looked fun. Overall I would stonglly recommend this resurant for any occasion. I don't see it working well with younger children.
Great menu with a variety of unique preparations. Great atmosphere. But overall, it was a great place to eat and enjoy the company.
Excellent – First of all the service was excellent. Our waiter was attentive but not overbearing and did not try and push us out the door even though we lingered enjoying the summer evening. The food was very good (ribs were excellent and love the duck fat fried potatoes.) Did see they have a great happy hour menu that we are planning on going back for. Great – The Old Blinking Light Is a hip, trendy, cozy, comfortable dining emporium for guests of all ages. The atmosphere pulsates with a positive attitude. One of the best secrets in south denver. So yummy! Love the decor and firepit. Try the duck salad or fried avocado. Their new chef has really turned this place around.
Thoroughly impressed. Food was excellent. One of those hard to find restaurants that has a quality of a food you would expect to pay $50 or more per person but is only $15. Best enchiladas in Denver, I am from AZ and know my mexican food, their red sauce is amazing, you can tell the make it themselves with actual peppers. Bacon wrapped buffalo meat loaf was excellent. Overall great food, great selection, and I will be going back regularly.
