I had breakfast and my wife had chicken tenders. Food was good, price was good and service was good. That's what we ask for.
The quality of food has gone way down in the last year or so. Food rarely comes out the way it's ordered and the manager just argues and makes excuses. What a shame because we used to love Old 56.

Ordered an over-easy egg, but there was still liquid egg whites. A little disappointed. I don't actually know who our waitress was. Different people took our order, delivered our drinks and delivered our food. Sat waiting for the check longer than we should have. The restaurant was not even busy when we showed up. Just poor service. French Toast was tasty. Bacon is always good. Probably will try a different restaurant if we are stopping for food again.

Thanks for the review. Sorry your experience wasn't ideal. And sorry for the confusion on the service. We do provide servers with sections but we try to have an all inclusive team style of service where everyone helps everyone to better serve you in a timely manner. And next time you don't have to wait for your check. You can pay up front and we'll have your check available. Apologies again. Take care.
We have been eating here for years. Used to eat here almost daily and cut back to 3-4 times a week. I have made several complaints that I feel get ignored. Tonight I ordered a chicken fried steak breakfast. There was hardly any gravy on it. My hash browns were cold and burnt. I ordered two over easy eggs on the grill and they were dripping in grease and cold. I ordered my toast lightly toasted and it was cold and hard.
