Love me some old 56! Chicken fried steak with gravy has to be one of my favorites, or one of their fresh hamburgers! Breakfast, lunch and supper have all been great food and service. Never been disappointed yet. Always one of my favorite relaxing places to eat and meet up for breakfast or lunch and a visit.
Good food, good service, affordable prices! My husband and I choose Old 56 Family Restaurant whenever we make the trip to Ottawa for shopping ... at least once a week, and we're never disappointed.

Omg !!!! The food I ate was soooo yummy!!!!!!. Chicken tenders potatoes and gravy and cottage cheese. The best meal I have had in town!!!!!
Doing recon for a group trip in a few weeks - had a great breakfast and Rendi was terrific with our motley crowd! Looking forward to coming back!
