I first ate here in 1978. It was the first time I had eaten Chili Rellenos and they were so delicious. I have been telling my husband for years how great this place was. Well my nephew was getting married at Doheny State Beach on 2/13/18 so we all decided to go to Olamendi's Mexican Restaurant on 2/12/18. It was even better than I had hyped it up to be. Great food, great service and great location. Food portions were huge. One of our favorite places along the coast!
The service was great! All of the staff were nice and friendly. The food was delicious and priced very well for a restaurant that is across the beach with views of the ocean. We had a pitcher of strawberry Margaritas and it was good and refreshing. I highly recommend this restaurant!!! This is now our new favorite Mexican restaurant.
