Violated the no surprises act and said services would be covered by my specific insurance. Only months later they suddenly tell me it wasn't covered and the insurance that paid for my services as they said. Instead they lied and said its not covered and they expect me to pay for a service I was told was covered by insurance with no one verifying it was. Preface: I have worked in inpatient and outpatient therapy. My front office staff was always accommodating to clients if there was a legitimate medical reason for a cancellation. Ola Pono can double down on policy. It’s their right. But charging the equivalent of 5 copays and some change for missing an appointment due to legitimate medical reasons is a little asinine.

The group sessions have been life changing for me. Dr. Bango doesn’t just tell you what you want to hear, he challenges you in the best way and helps you get to the root of what’s really going on.
