Dr O literally saved my life and has continued to follow my case after my 8 months in hospitals. I had severe multi strain septic infection that required multiple surgeries to removed infected and dead tissue muscle and bone. I hovered on death for months because of the severity of the infection and resulting organ failure. waiting, and end of course treatment, he says he does not know if infection is still in the bone. WHAT!!! He did not order a scan or anything, to see if six weeks of treatment worked! If infection is still in the bone, it must be dealt with! This is absolute negligence!!! Patient could be sepsis which can lead to many complications or worse!!!
I recently moved to Tulsa and had an infection in my leg. Dr. Okwusaba does have an accent that takes a little effort to understand. I have waited in his office. I continue to go back. Here’s why. I have never been rushed and questions were always answered. Follow up care and hospital visits were incredible. Dr. Okwuasaba and his staff were friendly and thorough. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone! I was totally dismissed, the visit lasted less than 5 minutes, after waiting a month for a virtual appointment that I waited on hold for over 45 minutes! I won’t be paying for that visit if they bill me! I give a zero rating!
Dr. O would not clarify home health orders
Don't waste your time!!!! I waited 1 1/2 hrs past my appt time only for him to tell me that I would be fine, would effects for a while, don't think about my symptoms, and take tylenol. Really???????? He learned that from med school!!!! Wont be back!!!
