THE NEW OPIATE CRISIS. You can not get help with pain in Oklahoma unless you are in the little opiate crisis box. It is not everyone else's fault that some people have the disease of addiction but we sure get treated that way. I feel like the medical community has failed to advocate for their patients. Dr.Porter, amazing, his nurses/main team before going to the techs in the back. Super friendly, super accountable with their mess ups. Usually don’t have problems with tech, but newer tech in training I had conflict with due to her negligence is whole reason I will not be returning. I advocated and vocalized multiple times to the technician administering blocks, and did nerve burning, more intense and invasive pain management procedure that takes 4-6 weeks to heal from vs basic epidurals and blocks I did, Only leave me sore ... read more
I have been seeing Dr. Porter fir several years with no issues until today. I arrived about 10min early just to be told I need to call both of my insurance companies to tell them which is primary vs secondary. After 30 min of that I get in the room. Just to be told I have to reschedule because after having the same insurance for almost 20 years they now need prior auth and I can't be treated today. I have been treated by Dr. Wright as has another family member. I have also referred multiple friends who have been pleased with their care. We have been so satisfied with Dr. Wright and his staff. We found him after receiving unsatisfactory care at other providers.
