Used to be a big fan of Oklahoma Joes-if you are a company looking to order out from them-dont. They are absolutley horrible to work with. Unhappy customer asks to speak to a manager-and was told that he doesnt need our money. He has plenty of other business. And said he didnt care he lost many customers. Will never eat there again
Im a very picky BBQ eater.My husband and I absolutely loved this place. The sandwiches are awesome. They have great sides and they are honest with you. I ordered french fries with my sandwich and they told me they were big enough for 2 people. Boy were they ever. Most places would just let you order 2. I love the BBQ Sauce. I recommend this to anyone who is looking for great BBQ. Only thing I didnt like. It is just a little expensive. But, if like me and you dont go out very often than its worth it.
You cant do any better than this. Excellent brisket, pulled pork, ribs, and dont miss the beans and fries.
My Cardiologist says he just loves and recommends OK Joes. Says he needs the business. Well, I have not been disappointing him. Great place. Great BBQ. Olathe (& KC) can, should and is PROUD. Come as you are, youll fit in.
You cant beat the original oklahoma joes in the gas station, but were lucky to at least be able to get the same food in olathe. The sauce is great. I would recommend the burnt ends, but really, you cant go wrong regardless!

There are a lot of great barbeque resteraunts in Kansas City, but until this spring Olathe residents like myself had to drive to Zardas in Lenexa or Gates on State Line to really get good barbeque. Oklahoma Joes changed that. For those of you familiar with OKJs original location in KCK you know how good it is, but for the rest of you, you are in for a treat without driving.
The BBQ is good. You have to stand in line to order and they prepare and deliver you food as you pay.Get there early for lunch or on Friday and Saturday at any time to keep from standing in a long line.The portions are a little skimpy for the price but the food is really good. If it wasnt for the long lines and a little more BBQ this would be a 4. jb
