Hands down, the best BBQ restaurant in Kansas City! The seasoned fries are amazing, and they come in huge portions. I recommend getting the Chicken Z-Man sandwich (its not on the menu, but they have it). Its pulled chicken with a thick onion ring and BBQ sauce. Mmmmmm....If you go during lunch or dinner, be prepared to wait in a very long line. However, if you call in your order for take out, you can avoid the line by going straight to the pick up register. If youre picking up, they wont let you eat it inside the restaurant.... read more

This is the best BBQ in Kansas City hands down. The ribs are tender and the brisket is so good you dont even need sauce. The fries are the best I have ever had. Anthony Bourdain who is a chef and has a show on the travel channel listed Oklahoma Joes one of the 13 places you have to eat before you die. If you dont like this place something is wrong with you.

The meat was great but wow I sure would of liked to of gotten full!!!! I would of rather had 3 more pieces of meat than 3 pieces of bread?? every one in front of me was adding fries when they got thier food. when I got my plate I saw why and had to add fries myself. The beans where the worst I have ever had! I will not be going back. sorry :-(

Used to be a big fan of Oklahoma Joes-if you are a company looking to order out from them-dont. They are absolutley horrible to work with. Unhappy customer asks to speak to a manager-and was told that he doesnt need our money. He has plenty of other business. And said he didnt care he lost many customers. Will never eat there again
