Reliable
After 2 years of wonderful stay at Okemos Village Apartments, I am ready to write a review. Okemos Village is a gem regarding location. From grocery to bank to almost anything you can think of, really, is within a mile or two. Okemos Village is in a safe and quiet neighbourhood. Never in my 2 years of stay did I ever had any issues. The tenants were quiet (all of them) and I felt safe during my whole stay. The occasional weed smell traveling through the bathroom vents was a little bit of a nuisance though. Edit in response to owner: What pet related damage? You mean the shredded patches of carpet that were there when I moved in? I literally left that carpet the same as when I moved in, I actually probably left it cleaner. Don't try to lie to save face, you guys do whatever it takes to withhold security deposits its literally what DTN is known for. I also made all the pest issues known and I also never once decline treatment, I only mentioned my concerns over bait traps or sprays being used due to my pets so the pest guys set s... read more
Moved out a couple months ago and the building has roaches (in the LAUNDRY ROOM too so even if your not findong them in your unit, do not use the storage units ir leave your basket sitting) and unit was riddled with so much mold. They're also not giving my security deposit back claiming the carpet had to be changed prematurely which is total bs considering that carpet should've been changed before I moved in.
