They have taken care of my family pets for over 25 years! I wouldn't go anywhere else. They are the best.
We wouldn't trust anyone else with our animals. Dr. Alfonso has pulled them back from the brink several times and him and his staff are always so patient with them and us�

Dr. A is awesome! Our family has been seeing him for 10+ years. I recently got a dog and he is very patient to answer all questions, and does so unbiasedly. His prices are very reasonable, and great front desk service. Any harsh complaints on here should definitely be taken with a grain of salt.
We have been going to Okemos Animal Hospital forever!! Wonderful doctors and staff. I highly recommend them to everyone. They treat us and our four legged children like family!
My family has been taking our dogs to Dr. Alfonso for years, and there is no where else that my husband and I would take our cats (we drive all the way from Grand Rapids), because we know he is the best!
Hector Alfonso somehow failed to diagnose my cat’s broken hip. I took my cat to see him over a month ago due to my cat barely eating and barely moving/limping. For some reason, instead of focusing on the area of concern, he gave my cat a type of X-ray which covers the whole body and I later found out this type of X-ray can rarely detect problems due to it not being specific enough to any area.
