RecommendedWe lost our dog Zoey a year ago today. She was a rescue dog with a number of truly serious physical and behavioral challenges. Drs. Alfonso and Perkowski, and their whole staff, provided exceptional care for the year that we had her. They understood how difficult it was for us, and slowly, patiently and with great concern guided us through those last difficult months. Thank you all at Okemos Animal Hospital.

Dr. Alfonso and the staff came highly recommended for end of life care for my deteriorating older dog. While the decision was extremely hard to make, I knew he would be in great hands during his last minutes. Every single person in the office that I came into contact with was absolutely amazing. I've followed Dr. Alfonso for over 20 years, with his first beginnings in Lansing and now to Okemos years ago. Dr. Perkowski joined him as well and the two are an incredible team. Personable and caring, not only for their clients but their clients "parents" as well.

Dr. Alfonso saved my dogs life. I've been going to him since he worked at Waverly animal hospital in Lansing over 20 years ago. I drive from Grand ledge so my pets come here if they need to see the vet.
Always polite and very knowledgeable. Also very accommodating in emergency type situations.
