I adore Ojai Village Veterinary Hospital. The staff is super personable and professional. Their prices are competitive and their customer service surpasses my expectations. It's really important to have a vet that you like and trust, and I trust Steve and his staff completely with my darling dogs. I use them for regular monthly maintenance (anal glands, nail trimming, etc), annual teeth cleanings, vaccines and emergencies. This Dr Sallen amputated my 9mo kittens leg because he said it had cancer, although he had no ultrasound or any other testing to prove it. During surgery I was told by an employee he left the surgery suite multiple times to great new clients since they're a client based hospital. The list goes on.. DONT GO HERE

We recently had to take our aging dog (17 years old) in as I suspected she may be sick. Well I was right and because of her age we all agreed letting her go was what we had to do. The office staff, Sasha and Cherami, were very sweet and accommodating. Dr. Sallen couldn't have been more caring and compassionate during this horrible time. The day we brought her in they even set up the room to feel more warm then just a sterile room. Thank you so much for your kindness.
