I appreciate the Oilstops in our valley very much! This time I went to the Ashland one. They were kind, professional and helpful. I like how they let me know about other services without pressuring me. They also keep a log of what my car is due for.
I was told the beginning it would be $117. I thought that was overpriced to begin with… Then they came back and said it was $150. I said I wasn’t going to pay that and there was a little discussion with the manager who finally said OK to 117. I don’t know if you’re baiting switch routine works with very many people, but I wasn’t playing. I won’t be going back at $150 for an oil change on a car, I’ve been a loyal customer for a long time and now because I have a premium car you try to gouge me. Not happy, not coming back.
