I have been having breathing problems for few years. I was diagnosed with obstructive moderate lung disease in another clinic and asthma. However I feel like I’m chocking as I’m falling asleep. I saw Dr Bailey and she ordered sleep study oxygen test. It came out positive for sleep apnea but she didn’t send test results to the sleep doctor nor give me an rx for cpap. I have also had few mini strokes, have large pineal gland cyst in my brain that can form from low oxygen so that it seems strange for me to have to wait 6 months... read more

Arrived a hour or so early for my appointment and was able to start the Pulmonary Exam pretty quickly. Technician I believe was Shannon and she was very kind and patient with me. Explained the process as we went and checked in with me throughout the process. Unsure why my results had me listed as “gender proclaimed female” though which has me feeling uncomfortable as far as medical documentation goes. A lot of us at OHSU have a lot to deal with, and we shouldn't have to worry about not having literal life-saving medication. I have 5 specialists at OHSU, only 1 knows what they're doing, and it's not pulmonology. I have advanced lung disease, on oxygen, and in need of a transplant. I have 4 breathing treatments and have to go without them a lot. I am grateful for these medications. However, EVERY, SINGLE, TIME I need a medication refill, even if I request the refill a week and a half ahead of time, I'm still without the med... read more
