Dr swantez did my left hip last month and cannot thank her and the staff enough! It was the best experience ever!!!
Dr. Brodke is a gifted surgeon that always possess exceptional bed side manner. He made me feel at ease and hopeful about my recovery. Also, i wanted to give a shout of to Sage and Sherry. They both had so much empathy and made my long recovery seem more feasible.
I was seen yesterday at OHSU Orthopedic South Waterfront by Jared L. Anderson to review my MRI results. After going over the images, he quickly told me surgery “wasn’t an option” because it could make things worse. When I asked if he could consult the two surgeons who specialize in this area, his exact words were, “I could ask them, but I already know the answer.” That comment alone told me everything — my case was pre-judged before I even sat down. I’ve never written a review like this before, but my experience with this orthopedic surgeon and his office was so appalling that I feel obligated to warn others. What was supposed to be a hopeful step toward getting help for my severe knee pain turned into one of the most frustrating, painful, and emotionally exhausting experiences I’ve ever had with healthcare. I do not recommend this hospital my mother was referred there as an emergency case, she has a fractured hand..after a long wait we finally got an appointment but a day quite far in the future, the surgeon offered her occupational therapy which makes no sense and furthermore there was a case complete lack of professionalism starting with the receptionists to the surgeon
