I had two doctors gaslight me saying I did not have a pineal gland cyst in my brain when I do. It’s unfortunate that many people in Oregon wait months to see a surgeon with the same problem and are told to just live with it. I know a woman with 2cm and nothing was done for her either. I had a very negative experience at my appointment with Kim Burchiel. I am a trans man and he would not use my correct pronouns, even though they are clearly written in my chart. When I spoke up about it he dismissed it and made a snide remark. I also have long covid and when I told him that that is what I am seeking care for, he acted like he did not believe in it. If you are trans or have long covid please watch out for Dr. Kim Burchiel. I am dissappointed that i received such unprofessional treatment from someone at OHSU
This facility will say they care but at the end of the day, they don't. They will do tests and labs and take your money, and then ignore you while you struggle every day. Don't go here if you actually want to be cared about and helped. I first went to this facility in 2019 after being referred by my optometrist because my cornea was swollen and they could not figure out why.
