Extremely disappointed. My partner needed urgent diagnostic colonoscopy because of positive blood test. The office scheduled him 11 months out! No other option was offered. God forbid if this was something like adenocarcinoma (very common in his family), 11 months is enough time to take him from stage 1 cancer to stage 3. The wait time and lack of alternatives is completely unacceptable. To put a nail in the coffin, they also quoted him $14K cost for the same procedure i paid $6k recently (also at ohsu). If I could give them zero stars I would. This office received an urgent referral for my dad back in February. They didn't see him until July and by then it was too late. He was told they could do nothing for him (because it was liver cancer) had this been dealt with earlier he might've had more options. I highly recommend you go somewhere else if you want treatment.

After getting a colonoscopy at the Markham Hill office, I came down with a colon infection called c.diff. It is often picked up at hospitals. I can't prove that I got it there, of course. All I can say is that I am on my second round of antiobiotics. Each two-week prescription cost me around $600, and that is AFTER medicare.

The level of care was so poor as to be unethical. If you are under the age of 60 they'll profile you and blatantly ignore what you say. I was casually dismissed without sound reasons as to why they refused to look firther into my issue which I have reason to suspect may either be recurrent infection of the peritoneum or cancer. I have been referred to OHSU gastroenterology since september last year and have not had a call. I am told they didn't get my referral after sending it from my doctor multiple ways. I have been in and out of the ED vomiting green and bile stools. I am very sick. My doctor sent a urgent referral to OHSU and again two fax's confirming the number and an email urgent referral. No wonder people are dying, because one can't get the care they need. Very sad
