Many nurses and doctors here are awesome. However, question everything, do your own research, I trusted the wrong doctor that was rude and wouldn't talk to parents or explain my son's care. Not all doctors here are equal and I think my son would still be alive if he hadn't gotten a bad doctor during his 3rd week. The most amazing care. Everyone is knowledgeable and kind. My baby has been in the NICU for 18 days now and I have never came in to him crying or being in distress. He always taken care of and content. The nurses are all amazing, patient and kind. Dr. Evan Ammerman is an amazing NICU resident we even got to chose him as our PCP for our son and we are very grateful that he will continue to have such amazing care going forward.
Minus a few nurses this place was an absolute hell!!! Dr's refused to listen and gave meds in non emergent situations without consulting us as parents and did procedures without consent. They also hem and haw until your baby is knocking on deaths front door. The pods are extremely over crowded and the way rounds work it is one massive HIPPA violation. Was told to call my parents instead to deal with my son and asked why we bothered saving our son when we could've had another one easier. I do not reccomend this hospital if yo... read more
