Best massage in the city – The Ohm Spa has a soothing environment with an Asian flavor in the decor that immediately makes the customer relax. Little touches make a big difference in the overall experience...such as providing water or juice ... and looking down at a small goldfish during the massage. The best part is the massage itself. Both relaxing and effective to relieve muscle tension without being too aggressive. I cast a 9.8 rating.
Totally Relaxing... – Took advantage of a gift card I received for Christmas and went to Ohm for the day. It was absolutely amazing! Deep massage, honey facial and I even caught a movie while getting a manicure and pedicure in their awesome chairs. The staff was extremely gracious and unlike other spas I've been to, they really took their time instead of just rushing through the services. For a short while, I even stopped thinking about work! The hardest part was leaving. This was the best present I received all year!
A great birthday present – I decided that my wife could use some relaxation, so I decided to get her a day of beauty for her birthday. She ran out of the spa and smothered me in kisses. She said that the service was phenomenal. I think I'll have to send her there once every other month. From the time we entered Kathy (front desk) was attentive. Be sure to book your appointment about two weeks in advance. They book quickly. And for a man whom has been named Mr. Clearance by my wife, I must say this was a great value.
A wonderful and beautiful experience! – First impressions are important and I'm hooked on ohm. I had my first spa experience here and it was exceptional! Great staff: friendly, respectful, down to earth. The place is VERY clean and decorated with style. The treatment received was thorough, professional, and I felt like a queen. Thank you ohm spa: I will be returning!
I'm a believer! – I was a loyal patron of Stone Spa for many years, but when they went out of business I began exploring other spas around the city. Some were better than others, but no spa has been quite as satisfying as Ohm. I went in for a full day package after the NY Marathon and by the end of the visit, I was so relaxed that I didn't even feel as though I ran it. Everything they did just worked together so well - the music, the decor, the service, and the price. They really took care of me. I highly recommend.
A great place... – I went to this place after reading reviews here, for the head to toe package which included facial, massage, and mani-pedi. Overall, this is a true gem of a place. I have been to many spas, and this is my second favorite, the first being Essential Therapy. The mani-pedi was awesome, and I will go here again for mani-pedi. Excellent Gift Idea – I took my mother for her birthday to Ohm Spa after reading the fabulous reviews... I am glad I did! We were running late for our appointment and the staff was accomodating nonetheless.. (I appreciated that) The services were excellent, the ambiance is definitely chic and relaxing at the same time! My new favorite place – I first went to Ohm because of the great reviews and ratings on Citysearch, and I haven't been to another place since. The massages and pedi/mani's are some of the best I've ever had in this city, and Jon and Kathy are by FAR the nicest and warmest spa owners I've ever met. The place is gorgeous - very zen.. Prices and packages are a great deal. I've been here 3 out of the past 6 weekends!! ..and am going back again in a couple of days! (obsessed? maybe...)
Fabulous Experience – I recently went to Ohm Spa and had a fantastic experience! Take it from someone who has been to several spas in New York and has had several different spa treatments (unlike the last reviewer). The owners were incredibly gracious and the service was outstanding. I will definitely return to Ohm Spa.
