not sure. a friend of mine went there had no insurance so they refused to treat her. thought that is why this building was built. cheaper for people that can't afford it. I thought they changed the laws that NO one can turn anyone away. this is BULL will pass the word 😢😢😢😢😢

I swear by this hospital and go out of my way to go here in emergencies, but after talking with a charge nurse carring for my client it has become very clear that she did not and does not follow this hospital's core values for patient safety. she was very rude on the phone and hung up on family members because no one would give her the ok to shove an 80 year old woman out there door that can't walk versus waiting on transport because they are gonna be a few hours. I would never trust a hospital after they let two beautiful twin baby boys die as they all stood there and watched as the mother begged them to help the babies came out alive crying and breathing and the hospital let them suffocate

RecommendedI Love Doctors West, I live close by so that's where I go but there has been a couple times when I have been at my sister's house about 5 mins from Mt. Carmel West and had a respiratory failure and the squad had to be called and I told them. I'm not going to Mt. Carmel. if you can't take me to Doctors West then I'll find another way, they always accomadated me. The staff is kind and courteous and go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and the doctors and nurses answer all mine and my families questions.....
RecommendedQuick shout out to Van Wert Health following my recent hospital stay. Excellent care and attentiveness from housekeeping and food service to the medical care. I know at least a few of my medical attendants and nurses were NSCC grads which made the stay even more special for me. Everyone I encountered was service focused and the hospitality was best in class. Van Wert is lucky to have such a gem in our own backyard. Special thanks to Dr. Conte, a first rate surgeon!
RecommendedWe used Van Wert Health North today for our 3 children. All of the staff from the front desk to nursing, and truly anyone we came in contact with, were extremely kind, helpful, and efficient. They got us in and out quickly which was greatly appreciated with all 3 being sick.
