If your loves one is old Beware the end result is death. They will put in little effort to save their life and make up they have the worst condition. They won’t update the chart so you have no clue what really going on. They send in the pastor as soon as you arrive obviously they decided to kill your loves one. DO NOT GO TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM, NOBODY THERE ACTUALLY CARES ABOUT YOUR WELL-BEING! It's a waste of both your time and money! I recently visited the E.R. this Hospital with a laceration to my finger. After more than 5 1/2 hours of waiting for a procedure that was to be done, I was informed the procedure would not be done and I was being discharged. A family member was recently a patient there and many problems existed. Communication with staff with the patient and his wife was horrible. Discharge planning was even worse. His daughter had to initiate home health for discharge. The surgeons were good and did a good job medically, but the care left a lot to be desired. He ended up spending more days there than medically necessary because of lack of discharge planning. Physical and occupational therapy was started extremely late and also left a lot to be desired. I can only speak for the psychiatric unit. I was taken to the ER during a mental health crisis, and the treatment I endured here was far worse than useless. I was denied food for nearly 12 hours. It took a full day for me to be given a list of rules, and I was yelled at for having belongings nobody told me I couldn’t have. I also have reason to believe a nurse tried to steal my 3DS, considering it was found by another nurse hidden in a drawer and not with the rest of my confiscated items.
