The monsters that tortured and burned an innocent animal with a blowtorch remain there. These monsters have no conscience, which means they also pose a risk to the women (and people in general) on campus and the surrounding area. Who would willingly go to this university knowing these men are there?
I am appalled that this school is not taking seriously the allegations of animal abuse that have occurred. To burn any animal is deplorable. To cause the suffering and torture of this animal where it has now passed should shake Ohio University to its core. Animal Abuse has been shown to start a human on a dangerous path for their future. First the death of a Student from a hazing incident and now an innocent opossum is tortured alive with a blow torch ????? What are you people doing about the type of Students you have there?
The university needs to aggressively investigate and prosecute the students who engaged in such a brutal act of violence against a poor defenseless little opossum. This story and the photos of the poor animal are still haunting me days after I saw them. Until the university stands up for what is right in this circumstance, it deserves all the bad press that comes its way.
