I loved being a housemother and student there in the 90s, but honestly can't make recommendations for others. The World changes and so does your warm and fuzzy university. Let your kids do the choosing for themselves.
Good school, fantastic town to "grow up" in.
I received an excellent education at OU and met wonderful people while I was there! Orientation was July 20 th, 1969, as a group of us watched Neil Armstrong take his first steps on the moon from the lobby of Bromley Hall. My strong educational experience at OU prepared me to go to Northwestern for my MA degree in Education of Hearing Impaired individuals. I became an elected official later on in my home town of almost a quarter of a million people. I’d say OU gave me a VERY Exceptional education!
