RecommendedBeautiful experience on the Ohio River
Cira and I spent a few days at the Ohio River House a year or so ago and I look forward to returning for another stay. Great location on the River and close to ferry to cross over to Ky side. Surrounded by small towns.

Gorgeous views and attractive setting for a weekend getaway. Vintage and antique furnishings makes this house feel cozy and warm. Barges and boats drift by along with herons and eagles and even seagulls! Dreamy spot for writers or artists or anyone needing to step back in time to a slower pace.
We had a wonderful stay at the Ohio River House...the home built in 1835 by River boat Captain Jesse Dugan is WONDERFUL...the rooms spacious and en suite, the antiques charming and the porch just Fabulous...owner, Cindy Brown is a charming host, and the guests were great fun!
Beautiful place, peaceful surrounding and a charming helpful owner. Definitely will go again!!
