Worked started in mid September to level my driveway and seal it….it has not been sealed and the stains left in the concrete by their levelling compound are still there….it took two calls to the office to get the levelling done last Wednesday…I was told it was too wet to seal and clean and that I woudl be contacted in 24 hours to set up and appointment…so no call …. I called Monday to ask about this and was told Imwould get a call same day …its Tuesday and no call…most unprofessional group of people Imhave ever encountered….... read more
I want to update my previous review on Basement authority. The problem is not with the crew of workers. They have been great. The problems is lack of communication of the company itself. They tell you a crew will be here and the crew only knows what the company directs them to do. So again. This is not an issue with the workers. They have all been great except exception of 1 just not showing up for estimates. Workers are great
I hired this company to do basement waterproofing and Jacks in my basement. This is very expensive work. First crew did great. Then a problem with flooding. They missed 3 scheduled appts, never called. Showed and still did nothing. After many calls finally fixed. Round 2, Had appt for am for hacks. Appt set over 2 moths out. Yep No shows. I called and now they say 1pm. They were consistently very poor about showing up and never called to alert. I will be glad once their work is done and Woukd I hire this company again. ... read more
Sold us a basement drainage system that we did not need. When they put the french drain system in, they re-routed my water softener into our sump pump through that drain system, and we had ro replace our entire sump pump system because it corroded due to the salt from the softener, I would not recommend these people to give estimates, as they pressure you into things you do not need, and apparently do not know how to reconnect a drain system from a water softener correctly.
Iran H , Damarion A , and Brady S from Ohio Basement Authority replaced our sump pit and exterior lines out in one day and were really quite proficient and knowledgeable about the process of doing the job . They were excellent in working as a team and stayed really busy until the job was completed . I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again and I am going to let them water proof my basement in the future ...
WE had Ohio Basement Aurhority come in this week and replace our sump pump. They installed a new pump with a battery back-up. Brandon, Ben and Cory did a great job. Cleaned up when they were done. We are very happy with the experience. Thank you!
Eric did a great job explaining our basement issues and what options we had in getting the problem fixed. Told us to call him if we had any other questions.Would get the company again.
the team was prompt, courteous, did an excellent/quality job, cleaned up after themselves, and got the job done in less time than estimated; they found a creative solution to a problem with removal of the existing flooring that kept the job on-schedule and didn't add any cost! The sales and office staff were excellent in answering upfront questions
Yesterday, 02-22-22, I posted a negative review about OBA. Today I received a phone call from OBA management. The gentleman was concerned and apologetic about my sump pump problem. He explained that he only had six techs for the OBA service area. With the ice, snow and rain deluging Cental OH, his guys were pulling 12 hour shifts. Consequently, OBA couldn't respond quickly.
