I was referred to Dr. Julie Gilbert to treat the finger I cut with a circular saw. She spent less that 2 minutes with me during two office visits and when I asked her about the swelling, about the stiffness at both joints and the pain, for each question, she reminded me I cut my finger with a circular saw instead of giving me a professional answer. Dr. Gilbert is an incredible hand doctor. I was hit in a DUI head-on collision among other things resulting in my left hand being fractured, rendered useless. Dr. Gilbert was spectacular, her credentials, skillset, intelligence, attitude, concern for and patient interaction were impeccable. I am beyond indebted to her, thank you Dr. Gilbert!
Initial appointment referred for carpal tunnel test. Completed and scheduled for corrective surgery. Surgery was perfect; local anesthesia with sedation. San Diego surgical center was also 5 star. No pain, no discomfort, finally can sleep a full night without that throbbing / numb hand waking me up. Dr Gilbert is an angel in disguise!
I had a growth on the bone of my left index finger. Doctor Gilbert made the diagnosis and did the surgery. Everything went perfectly. I would highly recommend her.
Dr. Ohayon performed my hand surgery in 2013. Being a firefighter, I have had many surgeries on various parts of my body. I loved Dr. Ohayon’s sarcastic sense of humor and the way she could finish my sentences for me. She is extremely intelligent, skilled, funny, and very practical. She knows how to deal with stubborn alpha males with her quick wit and attitude. I loved her! She is one of the best surgeons I’ve ever had. I recommend her to this day. Especially to my firefighter brothers and sisters.
Dr. Ohayon explained my condition and gave me a plan. On surgery day I was nervous, but she did an excellent job and took great care of me. She's a skilled surgeon and my finger and hand feel great now! I had so much discomfort prior to surgery. I'm so glad to have found her!
Dr Ohayon was very clear in explaining my hand problem, however her delivery and communication style is rude and unempathetic. She was completely disengenuious with me bordering on disrespectful.
Dr. Ohayon is a terrific surgeon. She is matter of fact, no nonsense and had a terrific way of making you feel not only comfortable, but also safe and trusting in the process, the surgery and the recovery. She is highly responsive to her patients, very thorough, obviously brilliant and keeps her appointments ON Time (which I totally respect). I recommend her highly! :)
Wow diagnosed in 2 minutes surgery in less than a week. No more pain. My wrist hurt so bad I could no longer put my fingers in a pinch position so I could not hold anything. It been Four years since my surgery and still no pain. Dr. Ohayon fast response good bedside manor. I referred her to a friend of mine who needed hand surgery but was Scheduled 3 months out at another hospital/MD. Dr. Ohayon saw her in 2 days, surgery the next week. Awesome service and awesome work! Thank you!
