Dr O Gorman saw my daughter for five years for EOE. She was kind, thorough, and extremely knowledgeable. We were sad to leave her as my daughter aged out of primary children’s.
It has taken me almost 4 years to be able to write this. She should not be working in an area where she has to interact with patients and their families. After the appointment did not go well, I spoke with Dr. O'Gorman a few months later when we were due for a follow-up and she was one of the most dismissive and degrading people I have ever talked to. Calls everthing anorexia if your child is a 12-17 year-old girl and is very wrong most of the time. She literally kicked our child out of the hospital who'd been admitted by the ER as critically underweight and dehydrated without a single IV or calorie. True story.
