Your home town butcher I have been buying my meat from the Ogeechee Meat Market since they opened. If I have something special I need I just call ahead and they have it waiting for me to pick up. The one thing you never have to worry about is the fresh ground beef recalls that you keep hearing about....they grind it fresh right there. Even when I go shopping at Walmart for my other grocery items I stop by to get my fresh meat from OMM.
Best kept secret is Right! Another person in town rated Ogeechee Meat Marker and I must say she was dead on. This place is amazing and great deals too! For those of us that are older and remember what Butchers really used to be, this place is like stepping back in time! You'll be glad you went and checked this Meat Market out! And just in time for your holiday shopping! PROS: Overall Great Store for Meats Butchering Service. CONS: HIgh Traffic Area so be careful
Ogeechee Meat Market is awesome. The service is fast and clean. The meat has so much taste that you will never go back to the super market prepacked stuff. The homemade sausages are top notch!
Best kept secret on HWY 17 by Super Walmart. Ogeechee Meat Market's products have been a proud addition to my home since they opened. The owners are so friendly and helpful and the meat is the best EVER. PROS: Variety of meat packages, Always fresh never Frozen, Friendly owners CONS: Not buying your meat here could be the biggest mistake ever.

Decided to stop and stock up on my way home from Savannah and so glad I did! They have a wide variety of quality meats at great prices in this economy. They provide excellent customer service which is also rare these days. I was greeted when I walked in and assisted quickly, while I was waiting for my variety pack to be packaged I was asked by other staff members if I needed anything or if I needed anything else while I waited. I will be back and I will be bringing more customers with me!
Local people and always helpful. Great source for Lee hams and other products.
The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The steaks are great and the pimento cheese is awesome!
