This store and its manager Nick do not seem to know or abide by the law (specifically Australian consumer law). Nick told me that any issues with my laptop would only be covered under the warranty (this is blatantly not true under Australian consumer law) and that a faulty laptop 15 months after purchasing would not be covered as this was a resonable timeframe for a laptop to break (I have filed a complaint with Fair Trading). My recent attempt to print a single photograph at Officeworks unfortunately presented several difficulties. The customer experience seemed rather complex, and despite my best efforts to follow the provided instructions, the printing process was unsuccessful. Moreover, I found that staff assistance was unavailable. This resulted in a quite unsatisfactory experience, making it challenging to complete the task. I came in stressed about getting some printing done, and he not only nailed every detail perfectly but did it with a warm smile, incredible patience, and genuine kindness.
