RecommendedThe food was wonderful. We had the best server. He catered to my grandson. He let him order his food first. My mom ordered dessert. He brought out a huge slice of pie. The peanut butter pie was delicious.
Make sure to go in July and try the amazing scallop appetizer! Wonderful dinner as always!
I had lunch there and was disappointed. I had the combo half chicken salad sandwich and cup of soup. The half sandwich was ok, a good sized portion of chicken salad but I would rate the flavor just ok. The potato soup was the smallest cup of soup I have ever had and seemed to be not much more than flavored half and half. The sweet potato fries that came with it were not good at all, tough and chewy with little flavor.
This diner needs a new manager, a real chef, a new menu, more experienced bartenders, more servers, new decor, CLEAN restrooms... This diner works for Albemarle because of the lack of choices for real restaurant dining.
Omg this place was great, the service was excellent, the food was even better. I live in high point and my first time was yesterday and I'm impressed. Anytime I'm in Albemarle, this will definitely be the move. ❤️❤️❤️😋
Love finding hidden gems, and this cafe is one of them. Original building, loved the interior design. The food was excellent-BLT, Quiche, French onion soup, and peanut butter chocolate pie. We will be back.
Amazing french toast, and the coffee was good as well...but the best part of the breakfast was the sweet waitress, she went out of her way to be super nice and was soooo personable. They are blessed to have such a sweet girl working the tables. I won’t be a stranger there.👍👍👍👍👍
