Hands down, one of the best places to eat in Albemarle. We did have to sit outside, but didn't realize you could make reservations. Fast, friendly service. I highly recommend the crab cakes!
I like Off The Square. They have the best quiche I have eaten. However, they should change their menu options and have ribeye steaks on a regular basis. The staff are nice and know you by name. Great local eatery foodie stop.

Freida thanks so much for the review and feedback! We agree that the menu options need evolving and are in the midst of working on this, plan is to introduce an updated menu in September. It will be mostly offering further options (including a few steak options!), we will take very little away from the current offering as just about everything on the menu is very popular. Wonderful experience ,, great food, nice atmosphere .Not too Bistroie for my Marlboro man ,, u know the ones,,, steak and taters. The chef prepared four delicious plates. We will return,
It is literally the best restaurant in Albemarle and surrounding areas. The menu is small and complete. Only seats about 40 so it's very intimate. If there were one thing I would do would be to hang some sound panels to absorb some of the loudness.
It was a pleasant evening. Nice atmosphere. Good food. Amazing bread.
