Recently went back to OTH after a disappointing first visit hoping the first time was just an off night. Unfortunately the food was bland, and the children's fried shrimp tasted as though the oil hadn't been changed in a while. They couldn't eat it. Too bad.

Absolutely love this place. Just what Chesapeake needed. I was expecting a paper-tablecloth raw bar, and I found fine-dining seafood. Bravo!
I want to give you guys 5 stars, I really do. The food is truly special. I've been twice now and I had some magnificent bites. The whole rockfish in lemon thyme butter was magical. Your fries are amazing. The hush puppies made me rethink all my previous hush puppies. My major beef is something that happened both times I went and may just be a personal peeve of mine. This place is fabulous! We had the most delicious and perfectly prepared meal, made special for us by Executive Chef Steve, a surfer chef originally from NJ, like us; and Jersey people know good food! The crispy whole bronzino, prepared with olive oil, capers, roasted tomatoes, and thyme sprigs could not have been any better! Complemented by the most delicious risotto and broccolini, my Italian wife was in heaven!
