We stopped in to try the new place for lunch on Friday. The food was fantastic!! I had the she crab soup...creamy and not too thick. I also had the mussels which were divine. My husband had the crab Mac n cheese, and could barely finish it. We liked it so much we decided to go back for our anniversary on Saturday night. I live at the oceanfront.... So I Eat at all the "best spots". This is hands down the best seafood in Hampton roads !! So fresh and soo good ! Great people that care about quality ! Must try it !
Off the Hook is "off the chain" good! The crab dip is to die for!! The mahi mahi is the best I've ever had, and the risotto is unbelievable. Oh .... And not to mention the fried oysters and calamari! YUM!! This place is a "must try"! It's brand new (just opened yesterday), so get there and give it a try!
Although I was initially surprised that the fresh soft shell crabs were $4.99 each, they were the LARGEST, MEATIEST we've ever eaten! I also bought the Key Lime Seafood Seasoning (also a little pricey at $7.99), but it was fabulous used to season the flour, in which I dredged the crabs before frying!
