Established in 1995 OEX is the best paddlesports shop in San Diego. In 2013 we opened our standup paddleboard specialty shop in Point Loma right on beautiful San Diego Bay. OEX Paddleboards rents kayaks, standup paddleboards and bikes. We were San Diego's 1st SUP dedicated shop ever to open on the water. I took a lesson from them late September early October. Living in the great state of PA ( Land of Taxes ). We have mostly flat water and some whitewater to explore. The ocean is a different beast that I have limited experience on. My instructor Kaliko was very patient and explained to me what I did wrong every time I fell in which was quite often.
