If I could give 0 stars, I would! I went in for a lipoma in my leg. After being bounced around multiple doctors, I was hoping to be a candidate for surgery. Instead, I was told that he doesn’t like to operate on heavier patients and if I lost weight the lipoma may go away. Mind you, I’ve had this constant growing lipoma for 10+ years! I will never ever recommend someone to this doctor. I didn’t know I was speaking to a dietician or weight loss doctor. My mother was sent to him for a sarcoma that was in her sacrum 7 years ago. He pretty much gave her no hope with or without surgery. He told her there was no alternative treatments and was very cold about it. We chose to seek a 2nd opinion and immediately felt a little more relieved. My mother did proton beam therapy combined with radiation and chemo pills, no surgery and is still here with us today and doing well besides some neuropathy. The proton beam therapy was a life saver. Dr O’Donnell and his entire staff are amazing! During my 3 years of fighting metastatic bone cancer, he and his team have replaced my right upper arm and shoulder, left upper arm with Titanium and most recently inserted a rod in my left femur. I’ve always felt their care and compassion and just can’t say enough good about him and his ENTIRE team.
