To Yoshiki and Naoko Sakane, owners of OCO TIME and IT’S TIME in downtown Ukiah, the OCO is a symbol of growing up in post W.W. II Japan. The OCO parlors were warm, friendly places and the OCO snack was yummy and cheap. Hiroshima had become a center for peace education and celebration. I really love eating at oco time I think I do it twice a week (ooops) I also appreciate that they automatically add the 15% for tip. It helps my dumb dumb brain bc I’m not the best at math. Times are tough right now and I’m glad they’re taking measures to ensure their employees are taken care of. Also if you aren’t tipping during this time then just stay home🤭💜
I love Oco! Not once have I ever left disappointed by eating there. Their staff there at Oco Time are the most incredible and hospitable people you can come across. I love the fact they have added tip gratuity to their tickets. It’s so wonderful. Oco time is one of my favorite restaurants in town ! The food is amazing and delicious and such a great price for the quantity and quality. The staff are always friendly and super considerate! I love the atmosphere there and always have had a great experience, super cute interior design and lovely personal touches all around the place. I appreciate them including the 15% tip on the bill, and I believe they deserve even more ! 🥰
Mandatory tip added to takeout order. Tips are supposed to be for customer service at the table. If you are going to force a tip, just raise your prices.
