I took my sister in law to the laplace location. The morning shift was very nice and helpful. They put a cast on and everything for her told her to not get it wet. Ofc things happen and she accidentally slipped in the shower and her cast had gotten wet. She called to make sure she could come back to have to the cast changed. They said yes. Wait time was very minimal and you can tell they cared
I'm only giving this visit 2 stars because the nurse that assumed care turned everything around. I met a family member here because they were having headaches and dizzy. The nurse who came to move my family member attempted to have them walk a decent distance from the exam room to them patient room. When I questioned if they wouldn't be taking them in the bed or a wheelchair this nurse turned to my family member and stated, "you walked in here, right?" I really wanted to report her right away. I was treated at this location. I went in there depressed and crying. Until Jayse Santos came in with the most beautiful smile and spirit! He was very caring and nurturing, I can tell that this is his passion and he loves what he does. I needed that so much and at that moment. So thank you ochsner team and a most grateful to Jayse.
My husband went in on Wednesday night around 10 pm because he's been sick. Low fever. Get to the triage and the women were courteous.. Sent us back to the front. Waited a few (10) minutes, was called to the back for examination and was told he was getting a flu test and a Covid test. So Jayce the nurse practitioner or MA , then said they didn't have the COVID test. So he wasn't tested.
