Sorta like the old Charity hospital, come here if you're dying, but otherwise stay away! Oschner has too many "policies" that cause them to ignore the patients wishes. They keep a record of your medicines but can't get it straight when it's time to give them to you.

Best hospital in the. Country
Dr. Mello, Dr. Lucas, Jena and all the staff in the PICU was absolutely wonderful when we were there for my sons first and second OHS. Wonderful bed side manner. They were great in explaining every step that we were taking and what was happening. Our social worker Jennifer Ali did a wonderful job getting us set up with our home nursing service and medical supplier. Wouldn't take my son anywhere else.
Hello, on last night 5/12/14 my mother was brought to the ER because she could barely catch her breath and was about to pass out. Earlier that day she called her doctor and he told her to go the ER so they could do a stress test. When she arrived they brought her to do a EKG but she was still shaking like a leaf and her pressure was like 117/82 (her doctor advised to keep it higher than this) which seems normal but its not.
