I always have a warm welcome when I walk in, each one I see is so friendly, helpful and yes, seeing the doctors is slow. Most are going back and fourth across to the hospital.
The staff is very slow they do not work with a sense of urgency. This is my 3rd visit here in the last 3 months. My first visit had to leave due to work and my job doesn’t take doctors notes. My second visit I arrived at 9am a lady in front of me said she had arrived at 8am and they hadn’t even called her name it was them 12pm. Today is my 3rd visit I arrived at 8am no appointment and it is now 2:24 my name hasn’t been called at all in the 6 hours. This is a friend's Eye Dr. They have been so good to him. His first visit took like 4 hours or more. After his initial visit, it has been taking him about an hour ½, give or take. Just be aware of parking in this medical area. This office has only 1 parking space for patients, and it is for Handicapped only. Which is always, always taken when we arrive. So, I drop him off at the door, then I go just a bit further up north up on the right to the Oschner/LSU complimentary patient parking lot, park in there, then scan their lot... read more
The only positive is that all of the staff members we interacted with were very friendly. First, they canceled my daughter's original appointment 2 days before without calling us. Luckily I had checked MyChart because we live almost 2 hours away. We went for her rescheduled appointment today. Her appointment time was for 10am, we got there about 10 minutes early like they tell you to. We didn't see the doctor until 12:45. Almost 3 hours past appointment time.
