I was a patient there May15,2016 till May 20th 2016. I was visiting from California and became deathly ill. I can't say enough of the excellent care I received. Everyone was so respectful,accomadating, friendly from emts, staff drs nurses even other patients.Being from out of town , treatment was awesome!! Thank you to everyone at Oschner Baptist Hospital!!
Excellent work NICU!!!!!!! My baby girl was born at 5months 2days.. they did whatever/ however for the life of a living baby. I love u guys!!
Today I had another FANTASTIC experience getting my blood drawn from the sweet staff at Ochsner Baptist. Other places have generally made getting routine bloodwork a completely traumatizing and painful event. This is the third time the staff on the 2nd floor was so patient, waiting for a visible vein and using a heating pad when necessary to help the process. I've never had this level of care and overall compassion for the patient. Wonderful service.
Just last night, I came in as a new patient from another city at 27w5d pregnant with labor pains and they admitted me for an overnight stay (24 hour stay) the staff at this hospital was absolutely AMAZING!!! They made sure I was comfortable and they explained and made sure I was aware of everything that was happening and going on around me! Dr Paul Celestre performed a total disc replacement on C5, just 3 days ago. I have never been treated with such care and respect as my time spent with them. My doctor and his entire staff made my stay the best, ever! I would HIGHLY recommend him and Oschner Baptist to anyone in need of his care. I am resting and healing, without any complications. I spent seven days on the med/surg floor and I can say without any hesitation that they have the best nursing staff of anywhere on the planet! Bar none...the best. I was in room 317 from December 21st through December 28th. I want a list of all if the nurses and support staff so I can properly thank them but here are a few: Abbi, Rose, Kathleen, Heba, Melissa and the list goes on. The ER waiting room is small & comfortable. The staff is attentive and excited to be their. I understand the ER is only open from 7am -11pm. Which seems like it could be a problem. I can say I received some Good Fast Care from a pleasant group of professionals. Thanx, C.C. Dominique
