Always condescending in person and over the phone. It’s amazing that there’s like 30 ppl in the office but only 1 or 2 taking phone calls. They have their priorities, getting your signature and money asap, customer service is not one of those priorities. Miserable experience with the security deposit. I suspect they figure they can skim a little bit from everyone, then give you the run around until you just give up and let them have it. They were responsive as a management company but once we moved out it was ghost city. Most of the positive reviews here are for individual service people, who are generally helpful, but it is sort of just a scheme to inflate their Google maps reviews.
avoid OCF at all costs!! ‼️ They close open maintenance requests, lack basic empathy and it’s hard to reach an actual person.
If I could give 0 stars I absolutely would, didn’t have heat for four months during the dead of winter and they simply didn’t care. Absolutely under no circumstances, even if you’re experiencing homelessness, do not rent from them
Inhabitable conditions. Dismissive & Incompetent Staff - do not rent with OCF. My wife and I lived at the Hudson Liberties apartment building for about a year. When the temperature dropped, we started noticing mice in our apartment. We could hear them running around, squeaking, and see them darting across the room. We started setting mouse traps and also filed a maintenance request with OCF bringing attention to evidence of a rodent infestation.
