Better call back service, impossible to get through most times
All I have to say is run ~ it’s a call center for a 1980s. AD1-1111 cab company. Call Montefiore, NYU, Westmed, NYP better facilities ~ real doctors & professional courteous staff & patient concerns are handled with immediate care. At EssenMed my father almost died 2x wrong prescription & misdiagnosed. Save your loved ones, it’s not worth the House call!
I love Maud Simeon, she is the greatest N.P. but trying to get thru to anyone is practically impossible. I called 7 times today, once they went to connect me to the clinician dept. and dropped the call. Other times I could not even get an operator. It could be greatly improved if they had a better phone system or operators.
The doctor that comes to your home is not a doctor at all, but a nurse practioner. They take forever to send prescriptions to the pharmacy. They take forever to do a pre-autorization for medications. When you call they direct number they leave you on hold forever and then when no real person answers you hear a beep to leave a message. Guess what they never get back to you when you leave a message. You have to keep calling. Oh yea they hang up on you too when they have you on hold too long.
The PA that visits is good but they are IMPOSSIBLE to deal with on the phone - endless time on hold, or they just dump you into voice mail after you have been holding for awhile. Can't get an urgent visit same day either. Granny is 100 years old and bedridden. Sometimes we need help that doesn't require an ambulance and ER visit but can't wait until we can get a house call so we end up going to ER.
