Worst vacation rental you can imagine for multiple reason. Be wary of these in particular if you're unfortunate enough to stay with these filthy people. 1) Electricity wasn't even on on in the bedroom we were staying in, and no one ever came out to fix it. We recently had a group of 3 families staying in Seaclusion house in Destin. The house itself was pretty decent. It was pretty clean and the beds were very comfortable. There were more than enough bath towels to last 12 of us the week. The kitchen, however, was terrible. Not the condition of it, but there were hardly any pots/pans or kitchen utensils to use. I didn't read the reviews for them before I booked and that is on me. Upon arrival we immediately contacted management that our house had no lights in two of the three bedrooms. I am leaving a review regarding my experience with Ocean Reef and renting through them. First, the house we rented was in a beautiful location on the beach. It was a large home with a guest house. The arrangement of the house was perfect for our family of three. It was clean when we arrived. The house has several issues that we discovered within a few days. Our family of 10 stayed in one of the properties managed by Ocean Reef. The place was very run down and it did not look like the owner cares about maintaining the property - inside or out. From the welcome mat being tattered to the backyard/pool area looking like a junkyard. No upkeep. These were not the main issues though. This business extremely greedy and they should be shut down immediately. They refuse to refund us and their cancellation policies are just silly. I've never stayed at a rental that refuses to refund your money a month in advance. How can you not refund people during this time? It's disgusting. Â
Would give zero stars and not recommend to ANYONE. This company does not care about their guests during this time. All they care about is the money. You guys have lost so much money from this pandemic and will in the future, the least you can do is take care of your customers and work with them.
