So my husband and I went out on the town to celebrate our 23rd wedding anniversary and we decided on Ocean Prime to have dinner on our special day. Upon arriving the doorman and the hostess were very nice & welcoming. We were seated right away. I noticed right away the ambience was nice & cozy. The service and the attentiveness was good. Excellent food and service all around. Ocean Prime Troy really makes you feel important. Fair prices for exquisite food.
This is my go to place for special occasions. We eat out 1-2 times each week. Mostly to the big chain's that are good-plenty- nice price. Well Ocean Club for food and service is OMG. it is pricey but when I wish to eat the best with service and the customer is always right. I go here. Thank you. hey NY Strip with Lob. Super atmosphere with incredible food!
The price of the food is high but this is a 5 star establishment. I have never had a bad dish at this restaraunt. I love eating at Ocean Prime and highly recommend it. The staff is outstanding, ask for "by name" Andy, he goes above and beyond for his guests and is always on time with impeccable service. I guarantee you will love the food here!!!!
Really enjoyed the atmosphere and food of Ocean Prime. Good assortment of meats and fishes plus great sides. Bar scene was good and outdoor patio is a must on a nice day.
Recently visited on a warm spring night and and the atmosphere was great. Good food, good drinks, good times.

Having not been back to the restaurant since it first opened last year, I was hopeful that the restaurant would be significantly improved from my prior horrible experience ( our entire dinner was comped due to the ineptitude of the staff).Unfortunately not much has changed. our reservation was not honored, the hostess lied to us about its availblity. The food and service were very mediocre. Finally, the restaurant was so loud you could not have a conversation even with the person sitting next to you.
