I often have pain with the drill but ocean nails are so very gentle! I like to bring in my own sheer gel polishes since opaque is most popular (and what’s mostly in stock). They don’t mind using my polishes. My little sister turned me on to ocean nails and I haven’t went anywhere else since. Try them, they’re lovely!
I went in to get a pedicure, haven’t gotten one in 10 years. I was so excited to relax when they ripped out an ingrown toenail without consent!! I had no idea they were about to do that until it was actively happening. I now have an infected toe, am on antibiotics, AND they took a picture of my dr paperwork. HUGE HIPPA violation, after I told them not to take a picture of everything and just a picture of the information about my toe.
I have been coming here for last 2 years for pedicures. When I first started it was great. As time has gone on, it feels like they are rushing to get my pedicure done ( I don’t think I have had the same person twice). This last time, he didn’t even cap my nails and they looked chipped before I even got home. Normally, my toenail polish lasts forever. I will be lucky to make it through vacation with this pedicure. I don’t think I will be going back.
I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at Ocean Nails. Two different technicians worked on my nails, and the entire appointment felt rushed and careless from start to finish. The first technician shaped my nails completely unevenly — the lengths were all different, the shape was crooked, and the thickness from nail to nail was inconsistent.
