Dr. Chen is one of my favorite doctors in the world. Which is saying a lot, because mostly I'm critical of doctors, as many nurses are- we don't mess around. I have had a long health battle with complications. I owe my sight to Dr. Chen because he caught that I had a torn retina. I came in for a different issue of burnt eyes (don't ask) which he resolved. Dr. Chen taks the time to ensure you have a full understanding of your eye health! Amazing bedside manner and truly cares about his patients.
The entire staff at Dr Chen were really nice. Dr Chen was very attentive and listened to everything I had to say or every question we had. I definitely recommend Dr Chen.
BEWARE!! Poor practices. Dr will refuse to treat you if you have an acute symptom that require an exam by an ophthalmologist. It doesn't make any sense. Also, don't ever try to change your appointment or you won't be allowed back. My husband did this ONE time, with multiple days notice, and he was not allowed to reschedule. We were told to find a different doctor. Quite perplexing and unreasonable!! The office and policies are not patient friendly!!
